In our commitment to environmental sustainability, every metal in our jewelry is sourced through responsible practices. We prioritize ethical practices by using responsibly sourced gold and ensuring all materials are free from nickel, lead, and allergens, so you can wear our jewelry with confidence and care for the planet.
14k Gold
Most of our jewelry is handcrafted in 18k gold vermeil. In simplest terms, it has a thicker layer of gold added to the base of sterling silver. Our solid gold pieces are designed to be worn all day, every day - but even the strongest of materials need a little love and care. If you find that your pieces are losing their shine, use the polishing cloth enclosed, or soap and warm water, to bring them back to life.
Sterling Silver
925 sterling silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. All of our sterling silver pieces are stamped with ‘925’ to certify their authenticity. To keep your plated jewellery's shine, we recommend to avoid exposure to water, sweat or perfumes, as this can cause your jewellery to tarnish and oxidise. As a general rule, your jewels should be the last thing you put on in the morning, and the first thing you take off at night.
Pearls
You'll need to care for your freshwater jewels to keep their unique shine. Remember to keep them away from water where you can. Plus, direct contact with cosmetics can cause marks or fading. Keep freshwater pearl pieces in your sealed pouch and, if you need to clean them, wipe with a microfibre cloth.
Natural Gemstones
Your natural gemstone pieces, like malachite, lapis lazuli, red agate, moss agate, black agate, and natural tiger's eye, need a little TLC to stay stunning. Keep them away from harsh chemicals, extreme heat or cold, and avoid knocks or bumps. For malachite and lapis lazuli, be extra careful to keep them dry and away from anything acidic or abrasive. Gently clean all gemstones with a soft, dry cloth and store them separately to avoid scratches.
